If a concern is raised this will be discussed with the child and the parent/carer. The pastoral team will assess the level of concern and endeavour to provide the correct support or discuss and implement strategies to ensure the pupil and family feel safe.

 

Sometimes it is necessary for school staff to open an Early Help or ask other professionals for advice and support. Some concerns may need addressing via a multiagency approach, working with services such as CAMHs, social care, School Health, Police, and Targeted Youth Support Services.
