The department uses a wide range of formative and summative assessments and informal tests in KS4. In KS3 pupils are assessed by the KNOW, SHOW and GROW KS3 Assessment Criteria. We monitor the progress of each student through a comprehensive tracking system which enables us to offer intervention when necessary.
