The Physical Education department offers a range of enrichment opportunities for all students:

• Y7-9 Inter-form competitions
• Enrichment/Rewards sports trip for Y7-9
• School Games Competitions
• Y7-10 Sports Day (inclusive event)
• School Games Events
• Race for Life/Sport Relief
• Variety of after school clubs for all pupils

There are a variety of extra-curricular clubs and sports teams open to all pupils in the school and many teams participate in matches against other schools. We participate in as many School Games competition as possible ranging from ‘Just Join Events’ to the Wigan Schools Athletics Championship which gives the opportunity for all pupils to represent the school. Teams are entered for local, regional and national competitions/ tournaments in rugby League/Union, football, netball, cross country, rounders, dance and trampolining.
