One of our key aims in the RE department at St John Fisher is that we will work as a cohesive team of professionals to support the pupils in not only achieving very positive RE grades which will not only compare favourably with similar schools data. We are also fully aware that we must help our pupils to have a broad and balanced curriculum experience of religious education so that they are morally equipped for the wider world.

· We will innovate, engage and enrich the pupil’s lives through Religious Education.
· We will achieve a set of results which will improve upon the last cohort.
· We will have a fully embedded and resourced KS3 curriculum suitable to prepare pupils for the challenging GCSE course.
· We will have a diverse range of resources for the KS4 curriculum – where the pupils comprehensively understand the criteria of the GCSE assessments and can address them accordingly in formal examinations.
