The Modern Foreign Languages Department aims to raise aspirations, to inspire students and to develop their ability, desire and confidence to communicate in French or Spanish. We seek to challenge stereotypes and to foster positive attitudes towards the people and cultures of Francophone and Hispanic countries as well as equipping them with skills that they will take beyond the classroom and into the world of work.
